This shift highlights her ability to effectively manage her career progression with her personal life commitments. She has been an integral part of the HUB24 Group for a decade, witnessing significant business growth throughout her tenure. During her time at HUB24 she has always worked to #deliverwithintegrity.
Tell me about your role at HUB24 Group? What do you do?
I have recently transitioned from an Administrator in the Superannuation team to a newly created role as a Change & Delivery Specialist. My new role enables me to deliver change within projects, regulatory compliance and the maintenance of procedures. It is very diverse, and I am lucky enough to work closely with a lot of different people and teams across the business.
In your opinion what makes HUB24 a great place to work?
HUB24 has a collaborative culture and a great team environment which I find very rewarding. After working for the business for ten years, I jumped at the opportunity to pivot my career and change roles. I am very excited and grateful for this opportunity. The advances made by HUB24 in developing the Superannuation Administration function have been amazing and I’m very proud to be a part of such an amazing team.
Which one of our group values resonates with you the most and why?
“Deliver with integrity” is the group value that I feel the most connected to. As a service-based industry we need to deliver on so many levels. To ensure the best outcomes my own team must work closely with other teams within the HUB24 Group. This allows us to function in the most effective way and (most importantly) deliver the best service and results to our clients. HUB24 has always placed huge emphasis on excellent service and results, and I can see firsthand the benefits both internally and externally (through our client feedback).
What is your ‘superpower’ and how to you use this in everyday life?
My superpower is ‘Juggling’. Balancing work and home life with a family of 6 (7 if you include Henry our Border Collie) requires me to be very organised so I can keep all balls in the air!
If there was one piece of career advice you could give someone, what would that be?
Do not be afraid to actively seek opportunities and request a change when needed. Opportunities for growth and improvement will not just land in your lap and at times, you need to step out of your comfort zone to achieve your personal goals.
