Chelsea was the winner of our HUBheroes Passion Award. She talks about how collaboration and positivity are key in her role as a Client Executive and how she lightens any conversation with a joke.
Tell me about your role at the HUB24 Group? What do you do?
A day in the life of a Client Executive is an interesting one. I deal with daily operational queries from some of our larger practices and solve time-critical escalations and complex investigations: I would say no day is the same. I get to build relationships with advisers and support staff alike and help support them do what they do best – service and advise clients. I started in HUB24 as a Superannuation Administrator and I always wanted to learn more and more about our business and the Client Executive role came up at the right time.
What has surprised you the most about the working culture at HUB24?
We have great people and when we pull together, we really can make magic happen.
What is your ‘superpower’ and how to you use this in everyday life?
Making people laugh and smile, sometimes roll their eyes! Life can be serious, but sometimes you just need to lighten the mood with a joke.
If there was one piece of career advice you could give someone, what would that be?
Don’t listen to that voice in your head telling you don’t know what you are doing. YOU’VE GOT THIS! Learn as much as you can from the people around you.
