Empowering you with new online adviser permission management
We’ve added to our self-service capabilities to give you greater flexibility in how you manage your team and your business.
We’ve introduced new administration features that enables nominated advisers to:
- Create new adviser profiles
- Manage permission levels of existing profiles to view, transact and support other advisers
- Deactivate advisers and support staff who are no longer a member of the practice or organisation
how does it work?
Navigation
Advisers with the appropriate permissions can access the new Manage Teams page in AdviserHUB via Settings > Adviser > Manage Teams.
From here, advisers can view and manage all advisers within their team. Please note, adviser in a practice will only be able to manage advisers within their own practice. An adviser in a licensee group will be able to manage practices within their group.
Create new adviser profiles
The Manage Teams page allows a nominated adviser to create a new adviser profile through AdviserHUB and configure the level of permissions available to that adviser. The nominated adviser will be prompted to provide the new adviser’s details as well as the level of access required. Access level permissions include viewing, editing, trading, authorising trades, creating/deleting cash withdrawals, and creating/deleting cash deposits for accounts under their adviser code or team. They can also enable permissions for advisers to create applications on behalf of other advisers.
If the newly established adviser profile has an authorised representative number, it will need to be verified by the HUB24 administration team before the profile can be activated. Profiles without an authorised representative number, such as those for support staff, will be activated immediately. Once the profile has been activated, a welcome email will be sent with instructions on how to log in to AdviserHUB.
Managing permissions
Nominated advisers can also view and modify permissions of existing advisers in their teams to control their level of access. This also allows them to deactivate any advisers and support staff who are no longer a member of the practice or organisation.
Tip: Use the filtered search function to find specific user profiles with ease.
The permissions to authorise trades and edit team model portfolios can only be enabled by an authorised representative. This can be delegated to any adviser if the adviser administering the permissions for the new profile has an authorised representative number or if the new profile has their own authorised representative number.
How will this change be distributed?
